Mexico Wedding

Well just returned from an amazing wedding in San Jose Del Cabo, on the Baja of Mexico. Great friends Roland and Candice decided to share there vows to one another at the most amnazing resort The Barcelo Deluxe. it was a saturday afternoon in the sun and they day could not have gone any more perfect. Great friends, Beautiful wedding party, and a world of creativity given to me. Roland and Candice basically gave me full rights to do what ever i wanted and how ever i wanted to produce the images. a photographers dream, just let us create and we are there to do anything you want. I cant thank Roland and Candice enough for trusting my vision with them in Mexico and giving me the chance to be a part of there special day. Here is a shot from the Cemetery that we shot at. The Day of The Dead was only days before so the colors were perfect and the lighting was bang on. Thanks to Paul D'Eath for being my great assistant on this shoot and being my lighting guy. THE TEAM AT DESIGN TOURNEY GAVE A GREAT IDEA AND THE MASTERMINDS AT IMPACT VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS TWEAKED THE NEW LOGO AND LOOKS KILLER IN ITS FINAL VERSION, ALSO I WOULD LOVE FEEDBACK ON THE LAYOUT FOR THE CAR. NOT SURE WHY ITS LIKE IM YELLING WITH CAPS LOCK ON OH WELL HOPE I GOT YOUR ATTENTION.

Trash The Dress

Well this is an exceptional story.

I had a bride from Medicine Hat, Alberta track me down through my website and wanted to come visit her sister and TRASH HER DRESS, well that we did. we sat in the shop debating about the angelic style she wanted and after a cup of coffee i asked the question, WHY? and What happened? well the story goes for this shot is that her ex husband is a fork lift driver at a lamp standard plant and he was cheating on her with a female fork life driver, the bikes are for tuff factor but the hand wrap with blood on her right hand and a mitt full of brown hair resembles the girl he cheated with. Tenille did an amazing job with the trashed dress bringing out the true feel for this shot. G&G roofing loaned the building and amazing forklift and Brett Verhiel brought his old choppers out for the shoot to make this an amazing piece, Dave Hamilton supplied the smoke that gave it the complete mood. ENJOY, watch out boys this could be your next gift if you get caught in another cookie jar.

New Logo on its way

well everyone we are under construction on a new logo for concept photography. We love our current brand but are looking to a company that has a tournament style for design, you post what you want, you wager a minimum and it goes out to the world with your briefing of the design and in the last 5 days i have received 91 samples, many are not what we are looking for but we have narrowed it down to what we feel will make our brand be re created and just show we are evolving just like the world around us.

WOW, almost 4 days in the River Rock Casino in Richmond BC, filled with powerful minds all looking to reach out to the rest of the world with there photography, The Team of Image Quest 2010 did an amazing job puting on a great conference, speakers like Dale Sanders, Mitch Graff, Dane Sanders, Blue Olive and Jasmine Star. The location was perfect, the speakers were perfect and the conversations amongst professionals was amazing. look forward to 2011 already.
